§ 3.524. Public Hearing.

    The Planning Commission shall not recommend nor shall the City Council consider any amendment to the General Plan until the request is presented during a public hearing. All public hearings to consider an amendment to the General Plan shall require notice as provided in Section 3.525.

    B.

    For major amendments to the General Plan, the Planning Commission shall hold two public hearings in two different locations in the City. For property-specific amendments, one hearing shall be in the general vicinity of the proposed amendment. Both hearings shall require notice as provided in Section 3.525.
