§ 10-12. Application fees for initial license.

(a)

Each applicant seeking an initial license must furnish with its application a filing fee in the amount of six thousand dollars ($6,000.00) by certified or cashier's check made payable to the city. No application for an initial license shall be considered without receipt of said check. All checks received shall be deposited to an account of the city and shall serve to partially recover costs incurred by the city in the processing and granting of initial licenses.

(b)

All fees paid pursuant to this section are non-refundable, regardless of whether an initial license is granted or whether a person or entity for which an initial license has been approved by the city council actually constructs or operates a cable system.
