§ 10-40. Safety.

A licensee shall at all times employ the standard of care attendant to the risks involved and shall use and install commonly accepted methods and devices for preventing failures and accidents which are likely to cause damage, injury or nuisance to the public. All lines, equipment and connections over, under, across and upon the streets and public ways and private property in the city, wherever located, shall at all times be kept and maintained in a safe and suitable condition and in good order and repair. Special attention shall be paid to placing guy wires and anchors before the placement of cable.
