§ 18-163. Resumption of residential recycling service.

(a)

Residential customers whose recycling program participation was terminated due to non-compliance with the programs' requirements as provided in Section 18-163 may petition the City for reinstatement as a recycling program participant. Reinstatement may occur no earlier than three (3) months after being designated by the City as non-compliant. The Administrator may waive this three (3) month period upon a determination that special circumstances exist and that it would be in the best interest of the City to allow reinstatement sooner.

(b)

The City also may requirement payment of a fee to recover any costs associated with distributing recycling containers and information by City personnel to residents being reinstated to the recycling program.
