§ 21.2-40. Periodic inspections.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any adult business licensee to refuse to permit any law enforcement officer or any city official whose duties are related to licensing to inspect the videotapes of monitoring required to be made and maintained under section 21.2-51, or to refuse to permit such officer or official to inspect the adult business premises, for purposes of ensuring compliance with this chapter, at any time such premises are occupied or open for business.

(b)

The provisions of this section shall not apply to areas of an adult motel which are currently being rented to a customer for use as a temporary or permanent habitation.
