§ 24-13. Experimental regulations.

  • The city traffic engineer may test traffic control devices under actual traffic conditions, and conduct research and tests on new traffic control devices not presently included in the uniform traffic control devices manual. Such devices are not to remain in force beyond a period of one hundred (100) days on an experimental basis, with the exception of devices being tested for durability. Testing of traffic control devices shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
