§ 24-31. Uniform traffic control devices.

(a)

All traffic control devices installed and maintained by the city traffic engineer shall conform to the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices as adopted by the Arizona Highway Commission and issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, Washington, D.C.

(b)

There shall be a rebuttable presumption that any traffic control device(s) have been placed by the official act or direction of lawful authority unless the contrary is established by competent evidence.

(c)

There shall be a rebuttable presumption that any traffic control device(s) comply with the requirements of this chapter and Arizona Revised Statutes section 28-643 unless the contrary is established by competent evidence.
