§ 24-132. Parking citations; issuance.

(a)

In an action under this article, a copy of the notice of violation need not be personally served upon the owner or operator of the vehicle but may be served by leaving a copy on or in the vehicle.

(b)

The notice of violation should include the date, time and location of the violation, the license number of the vehicle unlawfully parked, the state that issued the license plate, reference to the city ordinance or State Code provision violated, and notice that within fourteen (14) working days from the date on which the notice of violation was issued the parking penalty (fine) for the violation must be paid to or received by the city.
