§ 25-70. Purpose.

  • Buildings or appurtenant structures in the City of Glendale which have been damaged by fire flood, wind, earthquake or other sudden natural causes and which are in a dilapidated state contribute to urban blight, adversely affect property values in the city, serve as attractive nuisances for children and transients and adversely impact the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City of Glendale. Therefore, such buildings are hereby declared to be public nuisances and shall be repaired or demolished.
