§ 26-38. Rescue or assistance of prisoner.

Latest version.

A person who rescues or attempts to rescue, or aids another person in rescuing or attempting to rescue a prisoner from the city jail or other confinement, or assists in the escape or attempt to escape of a prisoner from the city jail or other confinement, or from any officer or person having him in lawful custody, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
