§ 27-36. Adoption of rules and regulations by council and director.

(a)

The city council may adopt rules of conduct for persons using city parks and recreational facilities. Such rules may be established or amended by resolution of the city council.

(b)

The parks and recreation director may adopt such rules and regulations as he or she deems necessary to implement and enforce the provisions of this article and article V of this chapter; provided that such rules and regulations are consistent with this chapter and with all rules and regulations adopted by the city council pursuant to subsection (a). All administrative rules and regulations adopted by the parks and recreation director are subject to the approval of the city manager. All persons using city parks or recreational facilities or programs shall comply with all administrative rules and regulations so adopted.
