§ 27-48. Animals; control; abandonment prohibited.
(a)
No person shall bring any animal into a city park except for dogs or cats restrained by a lease no more than six (6) feet in length, or for horses, donkeys or mules using trails pursuant to section 27-49. Any person bringing a dog or cat into a park shall maintain actual physical control of such animal at all times and shall immediately remove any fecal matter of such animal from the park property for proper disposal.
(b)
No person shall introduce any animal into or abandon any animal in a city park without the express consent of the parks and recreation director.
