§ 28-17. Members.

(a)

The planning and zoning commission shall consist of seven (7) members appointed by the council for terms of two (2) years each, which terms may be changed or abolished by the council.

(b)

The members of the planning and zoning commission shall serve without compensation.

(c)

Any two (2) consecutive unexcused absences by a member from meetings of the planning and zoning commission shall create a vacancy on the commission. Change of residence from the city of a member shall create a vacancy on the commission.
