§ 28-19. Officers.

The council shall select a chairman of the planning and zoning commission who shall serve as such chairman for a term of one (1) year, and who shall preside at all meetings and be the head of the commission. The council shall also select for a one-year term a vice-chairman to act in the absence of the chairman. The planning and zoning commission shall select or appoint a secretary, who may or may not be a member of the commission, whose duties will be to keep accurate minutes of the proceedings and such other duties as may be assigned to him by the commission.
