§ 2-226. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Annual art projects plan: The plan required by section 2-228 of this Code.

Construction project: Any capital project paid for wholly or in part by the city to construct or remodel any building, structure, park, utility, street, sidewalk, or parking facility, or any portion thereof, within the limits of the city.

Performing arts: Disciplines include, but are not limited to, dance, theater and music performances held within the limits of the city.

Municipal arts fund: The fund required by section 2-229 of this Code.

Public art: Works of art placed in publicly accessible locations within the city. Examples of public art include, but are not limited to, sculpture and paintings.
