§ 30-2. Adoption of standard specifications.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person, except contractors performing projects contracted by the City of Glendale, to erect, construct, enlarge alter or repair any public works construction in the city contrary to or in violation of any of the provisions of the Uniform Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, sponsored and distributed by the Maricopa Association of Governments, 1979, Arizona, and all supplements and appendixes thereto issued by the Maricopa Association of Governments and/or the city manager or designee, which standard specifications are hereby adopted by reference. Nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent the city manager or designee from amending or deleting the details for public works constructed or contracted by the city.

(b)

The Uniform Standard Specifications may be amended or deleted by the city manager or the city manager's designee for public works constructed or contracted by the City of Glendale.
