§ 30-55. Construction contracts awarded by the city.

The city may contract for the construction of any street and sidewalk. Such contracts shall specify a reasonable time for the completion of the improvements. All work must be done under the direction of the city engineer subject to such rules and regulations relating to the supervision of the work as the city council may order and direct.
