Chapter 32.5. UTILITY UNDERGROUNDING REGULATIONS

§ 32.5-9. Conduit required for underground utility lines.

(a)

All new underground utility lines or any existing underground utility lines undergoing development or redevelopment, as defined in this chapter, shall be placed in conduit.

(b)

Any existing underground utility lines, undergoing repair or maintenance, which will result in an opening of existing pavement, asphalt or concrete in a street or sidewalk, which is longer than ten (10) feet in length, shall be placed in conduit.
