§ 33-14. Voluntary utility billing donation program.

(a)

The City hereby establishes a voluntary utility billing donation program to allow users of City services to make voluntary donation of funds to human services programs serving the community. All persons receiving bills for services from the City under the provisions of chapters 18 and 33 of this Code are be eligible to participate in the voluntary utility billing donation program. Donations may be made by Customers paying additional amounts beyond the charges due to the City for their water and/or sewer fees and charges.

(b)

The City shall determine the form of the donation program. The amount of any donation added to a customer's bill, if any, shall not exceed two dollars ($2.00) per month.
