§ 33-56. Bulk water rates and fire hydrant meters.

Latest version.

Whenever bulk water is required by the property owner or his/her authorized representative for construction projects, an application shall be made to the City for a fire hydrant meter and the following charges shall be paid:
(1)

The fee for original installation and removal of meter shall be paid in advance;

(2)

A meter and fitting deposit. shall be paid in advance;

(3)

A fire hydrant meter fee;

(4)

The cost of repairing or connecting a fire hydrant meter;

(5)

A fee for the amount of water used, which shall be charged at the three (3) inch meter commercial service rate per thousand (1,000) gallons or fraction thereof plus all applicable sales tax.
