§ 33-171. Generally.

(a)

In order to provide for protection of the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City, a system of charges for sewer service is hereby established.

(b)

All Customer charges and fees and all of the billings and collections of the same shall be established by resolution of the City Council and shall be set forth in Appendix 1 to this Chapter.

(c)

In accordance with the provisions of this Article, the City shall establish Customer charges before the treatment works constructed with grant funds received from the Environmental Protection Agency as authorized by Title II of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended, are placed in operation.
