§ 33-257. Notice to city.

A permittee under this Article shall notify the City immediately upon accidentally discharging wastes in violation of this Article so the City may implement countermeasures to minimize any actual or potential threat to the sewer system and/or the receiving waters. This notification shall be followed, within five (5) days of the date of occurrence, by a detailed written statement describing the causes of the accidental discharge and the measures being taken to prevent future occurrence. Such notification will not relieve permittee of liability for any expense, loss or damage to the sewer system, or for any penalties imposed on the City on account thereof and/or for any enforcement action pursuant to this discharge.
