§ 5-66. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Applicant: A person, group of persons or organization that submits an application to the licensing authority for a bingo license.

    Bingo license: Any license required by title 5, chapter 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, as amended.

    Licensing authority: The state agency or department defined as the licensing authority over bingo games under title 5, chapter 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, as amended.

    Licensee: Any person or organization to which a bingo license is issued by the licensing authority.

    Manager: A person who has overall responsibility for conducting bingo games by a licensee and is designated as a manager in the application for a bingo license.

    Person: A natural person, firm, association, corporation or other legal entity.
