§ 7-31. Members.

(a)

The commission shall be composed of seven voting members, who shall be residents of the city and who shall be appointed by the mayor and city council. An eighth member will be a representative from Luke Air Force Base, who will not be required to be a resident of the city and who will not be a voting member. The chairperson of the commission shall be appointed by the city council. All members shall be appointed for a term of two (2) years and serve with no compensation.

(b)

The mayor and city manager shall be ex-officio members, without voting privileges, of the commission.
