§ 9-16. Adopted by reference; violation.

  • (a)

    The following publications, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the city clerk, are hereby adopted by reference as if set out at length in this Code.

    (1)

    2012 International Building Code , as published by the International Code Council, Inc., including Appendix Chapters C and I;

    (2)

    2012 International Residential Code , as published by the International Code Council, Inc., including Appendix Chapters H and J;

    (3)

    2012 International Existing Building Code , as published by the International Code Council, Inc.;

    (4)

    2012 International Mechanical Code , as published by the International Code Council, Inc.;

    (5)

    2012 Uniform Plumbing Code , as published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials;

    (6)

    2011 National Electrical Code , as published by the National Fire Protection Association;

    (7)

    2012 International Property Maintenance Code, as published by the International Code Council, Inc.;

    (8)

    2012 International Energy Conservation Code , as published by the International Code Council, Inc.;

    (9)

    (b)

    Any person violating any of the provisions of the publications adopted in subsection (a) shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
