  • (a)

For any construction or reconstruction required by a license, the license agreement shall establish minimum construction deadlines which shall be met. The construction schedule shall designate the amount of construction required during the construction period in increments of no more than six (6) months.

    (b)

After construction begins, a licensee shall report to the city on construction progress on a monthly basis, showing specifically whether the construction schedule is being met and the reasons for any delay. The written report shall state, if applicable, the number of feet of strand in place, the number of feet of cable installed overhead and underground, the number of amplifiers installed, the number of V.D.S.L. or other cabinets installed, the number of dwelling units which can be served directly by the energized cable, the number of dwelling units which have been offered service, the number of video subscribers, maps showing areas with cable installed and areas with cable energized, and a map showing areas to be installed or energized within the next month. The report for each month shall be submitted to the city by the last day of the following month. The city may determine the format to be used by a licensee in completing this report. The city manager may, in his or her discretion, change the reporting period to a quarterly basis and/or the information to be included in the written report.

    (c)

A licensee shall schedule its construction activities to coordinate with the city's construction activities on the streets and public ways as they are made known to the licensee, so as to avoid unnecessary inconvenience to the public.
