§ 18.5-7. Design standards for setbacks.

  • (a)

    Cuts and fills shall be set back from property lines and buildings shall be set back from cut or fill slopes in accordance with the currently adopted edition of the Uniform Building Code.

    (b)

    Setbacks may be increased by the city if considered necessary for safety or stability or to prevent possible damage from water, soil or debris. Setbacks may also be increased by the city for pedestrian or vehicle safety, aesthetic or other design considerations. The permittee may appeal a decision to increase the setback in accordance with section 18.5-17, appeals, of this chapter.
