§ 27-72. Beer permits; application; issuance.

  • (a)

    Any person wishing to obtain a beer permit for a city park shall submit an application to the parks and recreation director for such permit. The application shall include all information which the parks and recreation director deems necessary.

    (b)

    The parks and recreation director may issue a beer permit on such terms and conditions as he or she deems necessary. Each beer permit shall be valid only for the date and times specified, the park (or portion thereof) specified, and the persons, group or entity specified in the permit. Each beer permit shall specify at least one (1) person who shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions of the beer permit and all liquor laws, rules and regulations. The parks and recreation director may deny any application for a beer permit on any reasonable grounds, including prior violations of any park rules and regulations or any false information on the application for a permit.
