§ 31-21. In general.

(a)

The preparation, submittal, review and approval of all subdivisions located within the city limits proceed through the following progressive stages, except when otherwise provided herein:

(1)

Pre-application conferences with the project team.

(2)

Possible submittal, review, and approval of a development master plan.

(3)

Preliminary plat submittal, review, and approval.

(4)

The submittal and approval of engineering plans for the required subdivision improvements.

(5)

Final plat submittal, review, and approval.

(6)

Recordation of approved final plat with the Maricopa County Recorder.

(b)

The following subdivision acts shall not be deemed a subdivision within the context of this article and Articles III through IV, inclusive, and shall, therefore, be processed in accordance with Article V and are exempt from the provisions of the aforementioned articles:

(1)

Land Splits.

(2)

Minor Land Divisions.
